Dimension from a point on a plane in a sketch to a different plane?

is there a way to create a dimension from a point to a plane like the height to a point in the z direction is 6" above the top plane? see the dotted blue line in the pic

NeilCooke Moderator, Onshape Employees Posts: 5,688Hi @stewart_johnson - if the plane is not perpendicular to the sketch plane then your only option is to create a plane offset by the distance you want the point to be (before the sketch so you can reference it), then you can make the point coincident with the new plane.
