Can OS do cross sections of parts or assemblies?

I can not see any way to do a cross section of a part or assembly. Is this possible?

I so can you show me how.

Look for the "view tools" icon below the view cube in the top right of the graphics window. It's in there.

Thanks Neil had not noticed the cube at all! Thought it was part of the view cube.
