Just wounding is there a constant method for picking where the thread starts?
Just thought I'd come along and say that this script is awesome! Saved me a ton of time and effort. Only wish: If it could have an option for less rotations for the same length (allowing for faster on/off, with less clamping force as the side effect). I know there is a term for this, but I cannot remember what it is officially called.
Do you mean the term "pitch"? Pitch is defined as lengthwise progess per rotation. A greater pitch value will result in less rotations of the thread grooves around the cylinder for a given length.
