Is there a way to project a curve onto a surface?

I would like to take series of curves and project them onto a curved surface. i would then like these curves to be the path for a sweep function.

@mike_sandstrom Not today but what you can do it split the face of the curved surface with the sketch using the Split function and use the Face option.  That edge can then be used for a sweep path.

If the curves to be projected to not complete cross/split the target surface, you can instead extrude the curves up-to-face. The edge of the resulting surface will yield the desired curves.
