I'm trying to loft a square to a circle. Lofting a solid between the two faces gives the error "Cannot use faces or regions with inner loops as profiles". Lofting a surface between the inner edges of the two faces gives the error "Could not align profiles to loft direction". Since one side is 4 edges and the other is just one, it seems like I need a way to specify start vs. end edges, or to group edges, but I can't figure out how to do either.
Help?

Though you cannot loft open profiles, you could loft an enclosed profile and then use the shell feature to remove the internal volume. The technique you used should also do the trick!Tim Rice | User Experience | Support
