How to convert a selected face to a plane?

In feature script I query a face as below:
var topFace = qClosestTo(qMatchingFaces(qCapEntity(id + "extrude1", false)),vector(-definition.floorLength, -definition.floorLength,definition.floorLength));
The point happens to be the top vertex of a cuboid. My idea is to create a sketch plane on one of the top vertices (without mouse selecting them). But an evownersketchPlane() works only on sketch entities. So how to convert the selected face to a sketch plane?
