Removing a document from a label section

Can someone help me figure out how to move a document out of a label tab without deleting it from the main document section?
I accidentally placed a document in the tab and cant figure out how to undo it.

    With the document select (highlighted blue) select the labels drop down from the icon on the top right of the home screen and then uncheck the tick box for the label.
