Import .svg as splines in sketches

Requesting feature to import actual vector graphics into sketches.
Currently the only way is to convert to dxf which imports as an unmanageable mess of unconnected line segments, which for anything mildly complex causes a lot of lag.
dxf seems very limited, while svg has much wider application and support in other software outside the CAD world.
