I need to create surfaces to export into Exact flat

Hello,  Can anyone help me understand how to create select and export only the surfaces of my solid model? I only have 3 solid parts that have a very small amount thickening but can't seem to understand how to create and select only surfaces.  Sorry I'm still new and have limited time for training.

    At the bottom of your feature tree, Right click the surfaces in question. Select Export. Use whatever format the receiving part/program requires (IGS, STP, etc).

    Use the Offset surface feature with offset set to zero.  see example here.

    Based on your title, it also sounds like you are trying to do this for ExactFlat. With our integrated app, you first just bring in the solid models and then selecting the faces you want to flatten by "Creating a Piece". But you do bring in the solid models first to then do this. Take a look at my screenshot:
