pipe taps

I do mold design and I need to be able to model in pipe taps. Does onshape have this ability?

Yes, you can extrude a cylinder with taper and use it to create a helix
Then do a sweep cut for the thread profile.
You can then add this to your library and use it anywhere by deriving it and doing a boolean subtract on your recieving part.

It only does straight threads, but The meat is there you may be able to make it do pipe thread as well.
