How can I create a sketch plane from below or above a plane .

I want to use a plane that no plane or surface exist yet. Is it possible to move a surface downward or upward direction (ie paralel to its normal vectors) ? I think this would suffice

There is a feature tool called 'Plane' that will create a new plane relative to a surface. Is this what you were looking for?

You can then use that new plane is the same way you use any other surface.

It is also possible to move a surface. Select the surface and then select the Extrude tool.

You can also offset a new plane from any plane or surface when using the plane tool.
