How do you rotate a single part of an assembly prior to matting in order to position it

    I would recommend after the insert of the part to just drag it around or use the Triad Manipulator, which gives you more control over the movement before using the mate connectors.  Although, the parts move into place quite easily without rotating in advance.  There are flip options in the mate connector tool if the part positions itself opposite of what you expect.

    I like to create all the parts in 'use' position so it's already in the right position when I bring it to the assembly.

    click in vertice and rolate will show , group to rolate all
