What is the purpose? If it is for inputting data from elsewhere then you might want to consider writing a custom feature. Otherwise create a plane offset from x y or z then sketch on that.

the purpose is to add a point at the center of gravity or mass, and keep that point their so i can know where it is and add stuff to that exact location (eg. in a sketch)
