Make Part from an Assembly

Colm_RevColm_Rev Member Posts: 9 PRO
I,m having a bit of an issue when I develop a BOM (Using Google Sheets) from an assembly.
Within the main assembly is a sub-assembly.
This sub assembly is listed in the BOM as multiple parts. (Which I don't want)
I read there is no option to exclude a part from the BOM.

To overcome this I was hoping to make a part file from an assembly.
I cannot see how this is done or if it can be done.

Anyone have a workaround so the assembly is just a single line in the BOM

Thanks
Colm

BOM in Onshape still need some improvements, but I will try to explain that part later.

If all the parts in the assembly are connected, you could:
    1. create a new part in context from the assembly
    2. Transform with the option copy in place all the parts you need
    3. Create an union boolean feature with all the parts
    Un saludo,
