Combining Parts in Assembly

I'm trying to combine all the beams of this a arm part into a single part, i've trimmed pieces of it to other pieces and it's saying that I can combine them (Boolean, Union).
How would I overcome this to make the arm a single part?

owen_sparks Member, Developers Posts: 2,660 PROYou can use the group mate in the assembly if you want multiple parts to move together. (Might save joining parts in the part studio that would be manufactured as individual parts).
