Can anyone figure out how to turn this helix (lofted bosses) into a sheet metal parts?

don't think that this is possible, but you can do it manually - measure the length of side edges and assign it to variable using Measure Value FS (former Measure distance ext)

and draw a corresponding flat pattern using that length value from variable

Thanks to all. Both ideas are appreciated. We actually do this in a vice with a Crescent wrench.to a piece of 1/8 x 1 stainless steel.Our CAD guys work in Inventor and couldn't seem to loft this boss like Onshape did (correctly). We're mainly just trying to document a product we make currently so a full solid is OK for this. I was really just trying to one up the Inventor guys and do a flat pattern. Lol. Thanks again
