Making a 3D Diamond

I've sketched a diamond:
But Im having some trouble getting a 3D solid out of it. The closest I've got is with Revolve. But obviously this rounds off the intermediate edges, creating more of a conical shape:
I think the answer lies with the Loft tool, but I'm not sure.

Hello! This is a quick example of a loft from the face of a sketch to a vertex. In my example, the vertex is the origin. Is this what you are looking for?
