Fill does not fill to the edge?

Hi Guys,

i'm trying to create a surface mainly by creating 3d splines and filling the enclosed surface. This works, but i noticed that the surface does not exactly follow the edges, in some places it comes up short and in some places it crosses outside the edges
Is this normal? Will it cause a problem down the line, and do i need to fix this?

Thanks!

Erik

I see this in your model too and it does look right but when I pushed to the end and thicken the resulting solid seems to form up ok.

Yes, but if i thicken a connected surface, will there be holes on there? I tried, but the other surface does not thicken so i can't see.
