I would like to change my measurements from inches to millimeters.

charles_vcharles_v Member Posts: 1
I am new to this CAD program and need to change from imperial ( inches and pounds) to metric (millimeters and kilograms). Under preferences I have changed it but it looks like it is stuck and will not change.
Further, how do I enlarge my work space once I have managed to get the inches and millimeters sorted out.
Please help.

If it is an existing doc you have to change units under the "hamburger" menu (3 lines) next to the onshape logo top left.

    Welcome!
Some helpful keyboard shortcuts - 'F' for zoom all, 'P' to show/hide planes, 'W' for window zoom.  Hide the origin with the eyeball in feature tree.  Your first sketch dimension will scale sketch geometry and then hit 'F'.  All shortcuts are under the ? icon.  With these tools I find the workspace size irrelevant.
