Losing data when exporting drawings in DXF format

Andrew_BassAndrew_Bass Member Posts: 4 EDU
I work in eductaion in the UK and have been championing Onshape but have come across a problem. We use a piece of software called Techsoft 2D Design to run our laser cutter. We create 2D drawings from part studio and then export these in DXF format. When importing the DXF files into Techsoft 2D design it does not recognise data that has been created using the spline tool.
Can anyone help or has anyone had a similar problem?

Hi @Andrew_Bass - are you saying that Techsoft cannot read the splines? Have you tried importing the DXF files into another software to see where the problem might be? If you need a polyline instead, export in DXF R11 format.
