Can't extrude spline problem

Hi! I traced an image with the spline tool and with the line tool, but I can't seem to be able to extrude it. Any help/advice is appreciated... I am a beginner. Attatched is a picture of what I am trying to extrude and a link to a copy of the project.

To get it to work, instead of working on a massive sketch with lots of regions, try breaking it down in few sketches with a smaller number of regions ideally with no crossovers or common edges. You could use the use feature from the current sketch in other sketches that worked for me just now.5 -

You could create new sketches based on the existing one and Use (Project/Convert) small areas of your sketch.
You can use the Create selection tool to do it easier
