Why can't I open tabs on two screens, one computer?

I opened the Reality Server app for the first time to render a part more realistic.  Instructions on how to use Reality Server appeared as a tab in the document I was working on.  I thought, "Nice, I'll open a second tab on my other computer screen.  That way, I can follow the app instructions on one screen and work on the part in the other."  What I got was the message "(My Name) has this tab open and only one user may open this tab at a time.  If you open this tab, you will close it for (My Name)."

Seems I used to be able to do this.  Why not now?

    It to do with the reality server tab no being able to do collaboration, I think you see the same for drawing tabs.  If you duplicate the reality server tab that should solve your problem.
