Is it possible to move (or copy) parts from one part studio to another?

I imported a .stp file into a document. The importation process created a new part studio for the contents of the .stp file. I would like to move these parts from the new part studio to an established part studio. Is this possible?

You can use the derive tool to do this but the part will be linked to the original imported part studio.
Sometimes I want to import a part via step into an existing part studio but there is no way to do this directly.5

If you don't want to see the part studio tab with the import in it. You can version, then link the derive to the version and delete the tab on the main. This also gives heap more speed if it's a complicated part. You kind of end up with the same result in the end.1
