Need of global parameter and configuration

Hi,
I know it is not yet implemented and it is certainly somewhere on the roadmap but I still submit this post to increase the community pressure
- To really have a correct workflow, I would REALLY need global parameters and equations.
- And I also would like to have configuration for parameters i.e. set of parameters which change when I choose one or another configuration.
