New Feature: Sketch Point Mate Connector

Hi all,

I'll be the first to admit that I am a mechanical engineer, not a software developer so this may not be written in the best way.

I find myself often needing a way to add a bunch of mate connectors to various, non-uniformly spaced points on a body (usually an in-context sketch to back-drive some mate positions) and with no built in way to do this as far as I can tell, I made my own.

All of the mate connectors created in the Sketch Point Mate Connector operation are owned by the same entity that you select in the dialogue, and each one can be individually aligned to either an axis/edge/normal-to-face OR an existing mate connector (with all the realigning and moving you can do with that). If no orientation is selected it defaults to the z axis being normal to the sketch plane

Edit: I was informed that there is already a custom feature named Multi-Mate Connector, so I am renaming this to "Sketch Point Mate Connector"

Let me know if you find it useful or if there is a way I can improve it!

Also, full disclosure, while Claude did not write all of this, it did help me figure out a lot of it.

    There's already a somewhat well know feature with this same name. I would recommend not using the same name.

    @Konst_Sh started this in 2019.

    There's also a much less known feature I wrote that prioritizes simply promoting implicit mate connectors into explicit ones and saving the selection set as a Query Variable for easy re-use in downstream features. It's been the silent workhorse for a lot of our company's internal workflows.

    I also couldn't use the name multi-mate connector cause it was taken.

    What Simon said. I thought this was an update to that script.

    My bad, I did try and research if this already existed but I guess I missed this. I renamed it to "Sketch Point Mate Connector"
