Retrieve mate connector data (host Part and entity) by id
I am trying to find the specific mate connectors that relate to a fastener mate in an Assembly. So I understand I can GET: /assemblies/d/{DID}/w/{WVMID}/e/{EID} and this provides under rootAssembly.features[i].featureData.matedEntities a mated Occurrence as below: { "id": "MbgTxbQ4oxWjiJC0b", "featureType": "mate",…

New Feature: Sketch Point Mate Connector
Hi all, I'll be the first to admit that I am a mechanical engineer, not a software developer so this may not be written in the best way. I find myself often needing a way to add a bunch of mate connectors to various, non-uniformly spaced points on a body (usually an in-context sketch to back-drive some mate positions) and…

I decided to give myself a stretch project, which is a toy that features a cam which drives two arms; at the intersection of these arms is a gliding part which houses a magnet (meant to be a bee following a path between some flowers). There are…

Help with mating options
I thought I was doing pretty good with mates until I ran into this issue. In the image below, I want to place the short piece into the notch shown and also mated with the face of the highlighted part. I tried a planer mate with the bottom of the notch. ok. Then another planer mate with one side of the notch. So far so…
