Do Sheet Metal Parts Export to DWG /DXF?

I can not figure out (google did not help) how to export a sheet metal assembly into .dxf parts. Is this even available, or am I just blind

If it is the flat pattern as a solid see this post: https://forum.onshape.com/discussion/comment/26708#Comment_26708
They say comming soon.
Otherwise the work around is to right click the flat pattern and create a drawing
then export the drawing0 -
The right-click-drawing option does not give a vector output, does it? Nothing that I could use to laser cut, waterjet etc. right? It is just the visual drawing for help in machining, or am I missing something. Thanks for the tip about solid parts.0
