How to continue pattern?

Hi all, I want to create a pattern of lines that are all parallel spaced 1mm apart, however I want the next line in the sequence to be 1mm shorter than the previous line. Is this possible?

    You want every line progressivly shorter?

    you can create a construction line and add a point that is coincident to the first patterned line, then trim the excess on the remaining lines
