qEdgeAdjacent not working as I expect

I must be missing something obvious but when I try and use qEdgeAdjacent(query, FACES) on the rim of an extrude-remove pocket it does not return any faces. I was expecting it to return the top face of the block and the side face of the pocket connected to the edge I selected.

hi, make sure that you don't select sketch line as seed edge. hide your sketch and try again
