Loft between top of shell and inclined plane

Im ty to create a set  of inclined planes which I would like to join to top of a shell. However, when trying to use a loft it looks crappy as the loft looks like it is using a point on the shell as an unwanted vertices. How do you do this>

    Hi @tgunr ,

    I looked at your document but it looks like you've edited away the root of the question.  Maybe set up a Version that has the geometry in question and post a link to that (rather than a link to the live document).
