Planes perpendicular to splines and helix's

I didn't want to start a support ticket for something that is already being worked on.

However is there any future for plans being made perpendicular to a splines (including 3d) end point?

Using a similar method currently used for line + point work plane generation?

I have made a work around for this for anyone struggling:

Draw your spline on one the work plane of your choice.

Create a line with a start point on the spline, make this line tangent to your spline and turn it into a construction line

Create a plane, select your construction line and the shared end point with the spline

Draw on your newly constructed plane, relation your constructed geometry to the end point of the spline, then sweep the geometry.

I was trying this with a Helix and it did not work, I just assumed it was all Splines

Curve Point planes work with helices as well.  If it isn't, can you post an example?

I just tried it now and it seems to be working as expected. I was certain this didnt work, i worked on it 2 days ago I would get a failed result, I tried several times hence why I came up with the method I showed.

    Thanks.
