Cannot see text when typing or editing in a drawing!

When I try to create text, not a dimension, I cannot see the text as I'm typing, and if I edit the text field, I still cannot see what I'm editing.
Needless to say, this is a problem.
I have tried 2 different computers, and two different browsers (Firefox and Chrome) on both, and still the problem remains.
I also have the latest graphics drivers for both computers..
Has anyone else experienced this? Know of a solution?
