Error in parameter type for addInstance

  The overloads for addInstance() include a 3-argument version using a BuildFunction (where the third argument is a map containing e.g. a transform or a part query), as well as 2- and 3-argument versions using PartStudioData (which comes from a reference parameter, not a direct import). The error is suggesting the 2-arg version using PartStudioData, but you actually want the 3-arg version using a BuildFunction.
  
  So I imagine you want code something like this:
  

  const points = evaluateQuery(selectedPoints);
  for (var i = 0; i < size(points); i++)
  {
      addInstance(instantiator, elbowTest::build, {
          "transform" : transform(points[i])
      });
  }

  Thank you for your reply. I used the transform argument used in your example, but multiple errors formed, involving:
  
  @evMateConnectorCoordSystem: MATECONNECTOR_QUERY_CSYS_FAILED
  Typecheck canBeTransform failed (value.linear is Matrix)
  throw EXTRUDE_NO_SELECTED_REGION
  @opPattern: Map does not contain field 'linear'
  
  I am confused how to fix this, as well as the nature of most of the errors.

  Try "transform" : transform(evVertexPoint(context, {vertex:points[I]})  )
