Which Fastened Mate

famadorianfamadorian Member Posts: 390 ✭✭✭
In the image, I've selected an object and tried to move it, but it's stuck, because of a Fastened mate.

, but which one?

I figured out that I had to delete Fastened 6 to be able to move the object, but only after deleting one by one. How can I determine which mate is keeping the object from moving without trial and error?

Also, is there some way to see which mate connector is active on an object?

if you press J and K it will hide all of the mate connectors everywhere.

looks like you love your mate connectors

They were a bit exteme on this model,  but any other way I could've done it?

It's a cabinet and I've placed a connector every 10cm to be able to attach the drawers at 10cm intervals

    You're fine  :D

I always see so many MCs in your screen shots is all :)
I use my fair share as well, just find them really distracting so I keep them off until I need em  ;)

    Oh dang! That's cool!

It would come in handy for mated parts deep inside a machine
