I want to connect the pipes in this heat exchanger.

I want the ends on the left to be connect with a funnel at the top and the ends on the right to be connected with a drain to the bottom. I attempted to draw lines then sweep them to make pipes but I couldn't get the lines oriented because I don't understand how the faces work. Please help.

If I understand correctly, you are trying to add inlet and exhaust headers (or manifolds) to your heat exchanger. Does https://cad.onshape.com/documents/0794954faac694a1fa4d98ee/w/d26b4976ec3e2bfd9f21cc9d/e/52f521f504604ea608849705 achieve what you are trying to accomplish?I added Sketch3 on the top plane and extruded that downward to create the drain header on the right-hand-end. You could add the inlet header to that sketch as well. Extrude5 and Extrude6 utilize that same sketch to trim the tube intersections.Also note that I fully constrained Sketch1 in your model, placing the center-line inline with the origin.I hope this helps.Regards,-Matt
