Assembly, Put 2 surfaces on each other

ehsan_pazookiehsan_pazooki Member Posts: 52 EDU
Hello Guys,

I need to put two surfaces on each other in assembly. Could you please tell me how to do that in the most correct way?

There must not be any distance between the surfaces, but they must not be also mixed together. Is there any function for that? Or I should just move the surfaces by my self?

Thanks a lot and best regards
Essi

Are they flat or curved? Flat = planar mate, curved = tangent mate.

Now in my case they are flat. But it's also important to know about the curved.

    Thanks man.

Only use planar mate if you want the faces to slide over one another - otherwise use fastened mate
