Please advise how to proceed? Wavy surface

Would anyone please advise me how to create a christmas tree in an attachment? I don't know what to do. I can handle the tree, but I can't handle the wavy lines. Thank you very much and I apologize for my English.

Create a cone, sketch a wavy line, use the Wrap feature to split the cone face, offset the split face. That should get you close.

Somehow I missed the obvious. My mind does that every now and then. There was no need for me to do a cylinder. So I just split the cone

But I’m guessing you probably have a better solution for moving the different shapes into place

I’ll have to take some time and look at what you did

When I saw how you scaled, I went back and changed my lazy way of doing it and ended up saving myself a couple more steps. It was just a matter of selecting the origin to scale around

I get lazy a lot of times and just go with whatever pops into my mind at the time

I used a feature pattern to loop over the sequence. It is probably overkill in this case, but it does give you some nice equations to play with to quickly adjust the look of the tree.

Increment an iteration variable by 1
Scale down a copy of the part (size is function of iteration number to decrease size for each instance)
Use a circular pattern to move the part and boolean it into place (distance is also a function of iteration number to space them closer)
Rinse and repeat
