Why won't this simple loft complete?

Hi all,
I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. Thank you to all who have posted questions and answers that I have learned from!
I've been experimenting with this loft for a few days and have been unable to understand why it's failing.
I am 3d printing some surf fins and am trying to get some designs working.
Below are some test files that I've kept minimal for testing and troubleshooting
For reference, this surf fin foil his loft succeeded - https://cad.onshape.com/documents/bc6ec732e5252e04bf7c7e86/w/5a8aa2a2f9d2685c33497ba3/e/b6a1f244dc5dc64f7a072aea
This loft failed - https://cad.onshape.com/documents/a06e826186551052de351a58/w/0d438cd868b9d3f468ca3358/e/7c8b8416b72f6b2a49534eb4
And I have no clue as to why? I've tried all kinds of different settings in the lofting command to no avail.
If anyone can help I would be grateful!
