What does "Some of the geometry intersects itself or is degenerate" mean

I am new to OnShape. I have a .dwg file exported from Illustrator that OnShape is having trouble with. Part of the file works and part doesn't. I've been trying different things but nothing helps. Even if I bring it in as two different files, the one that works is good but the one that doesn't gives me the above error. I've checked for grouping, non-continuous lines, fill, non fill, etc., etc., etc.
Attached is the .ai file. The "r" in the logo works. The "m" gives me the error above.

I purchased a dxf graphic and was trying to use it in on shape.

Not sure where the problem is exactly but I would start by fixing all the "open" sketch bits. This featurescript is great for this:

Also I've found the issue, it's in this area:
If you box select like this and delete it gets rid of the error:

To make sense of the error message: a curve that intersects itself is something like a single curve that crosses itself like a figure 8 or ichthus. A curve that is degenerate means it's a zero-length curve, like a line with coincident start and end points (I'm less certain about this one, but I think it's something like that). It's possible that you've got a small error in Illustrator, or that it made one in translation.0

How is the FeatureScript implemented? I don't see any documentation on this particular script.
