What causes "loose" endpoints in a silhouette edge?
Draw a circle in the top plane and extrude a cylinder. Create a sketch on the front plane and view normal to the sketch plane. Use the "use" tool to create a silhouette edge on the side of the cylinder. The sketch is not fully defined. In the sketch diagnostics tools, the endpoints of the silhouette edge are considered…

How to fully define a sketch
I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if I’m just not understanding, but I’m trying to make a body tube for a model rocket and I’ve been stuck trying to do a simple circular pattern around the Z‑axis of my body tube (a cylinder). I’m new to Onshape, but I have experience with other CAD software, and for some reason…

Why is this sketch not fully defined?
What am I missing here to fully define this sketch? This often happens to me when working with the arc tools.

To this point, the sketch is fully defined. I added a box at the 9…

Does Onshape have an automatic constraint functionality similar to Inventor?
So, let's say you've got a complex .dwg that you just want to import because you're too lazy to simplify it... in Inventor you'd just autoconstrain the whole shebang and you're off to the fully-defined races... and can delete constraints as you need later on. Anything like that in Onshape, and if not, might it conceivably…
