Do the sweep in sections that don't self intersect the section being created. and merge them together as you create them. (View Post)1 -

Why is that all one sketch vs a portion of it? Then duplicate parts created. You will get better performance by simplifying the sketch and then duplicating the solid geometry. (View Post)1 -

Not sure what the context of all that repeated work is but generally you'd only want to do maybe 1/8 of that and then mirror/pattern the rest of it. (View Post)1
