It looks like you have an extension running in the tab. You could try disabling the extension all together to eliminate it as a possible cause for the problem. (View Post)2 -

In order to get around the default offset, simply select the offset feature, and then select a line/curve/etc and drag in the direction of the offset. This will also select the entire chain at once! (View Post)1 -
