I have been in the CAD world for 39 years (and counting.) I Stared in College with ComputerVision, Applicon, Calma, and the like. My first job was as a system admin/drafter using ComputerVision CADDS3 and an old P-1000 pen plotter - fun. After a few years of managing the drafters and still babysitting the giant mainframe used to run Computervision, I switched the company over to Pro\Engineer about 1990. I stayed with ProE/Creo as manager, user, and admin in various combinations at various jobs up until 2021 when I switched the company I now work for over to Onshape. Just a 1 seat company, but I am 100% a user now and enjoying every minute of it.

Re: Can my configured assembly be set to be a "Master" assembly?
Thanks, Evan. These meetings are more impromptu than planned. I can see just making a branch or setting a version before I start. I guess it is just a matter of getting used to doing things in a diff… (View Post)1 -
Re: Totally removing a drawing from existance
I tried to nuke it from space but I missed it. Now I cannot find my dog. Delete appears to work but when I go to reuse that part number, it forces me to start at a higher revision. Something is remem… (View Post)1
