100% agree.
Which is why I've not understood why simply supressing a feature with an expression is not possible yet? yes there are some work arounds, but why not have "suppress feature" convert to expression option like you do with Booleans?

Based on user feedback, the behaviour of connector placement has changed. If you have used the new capabilites introduced in 1.204.0 earlier this week, then your connectors may have moved - please check.
Re: How to extrude imported parts with a featurescript
Here is a simple example of how to instantiate a pre imported part as well as letting the user choose like a derive:
