Re: Parallel, but not parallel mate?
Place a parallel mate but manipulate one of the mate connectors like this.

Re: Render Battle #6 - Coffee time ☕(Winner gets a real Prize!)
Man this steam is difficult. I can't seem to make a custom texture either, no images show up when i import bitmap with either function. There really needs to be a "Custom texture" texture that quickly lets us choose different settings and assign a simple image, normal, bump, etc…
Here is a test render just playing around:
Re: Texture (New Custom Feature!)
I know this wouldn't help performance on an already performance heavy script but by switching to the full fat booleanBodies() operation on line 1493 you get sheet metal support for subtraction. This texture tool is a laser kerf bending tool in disguise.
Re: How to remove extrude/shell without overhang
@bladec You are an absolute legend. Thank you so much.
I have tried this a couple times before, but for some reason it never worked the way I expected. I thought it wasn't possible, couldn't be done. But today, I can see the light of a new dawn.
Re: constraints inter-sketches
If the sketches aren't on parallel planes, you can add construction lines at a diameter and make those equal (assuming there is an obvious commonality - e.g. horizontal or vertical).
Or, you can also just use a variable and control the circle diameters from a single variable.

Re: Holes in Sheet Metal Model
This was promptly solved by Support.
"Thanks for reaching out to Onshape Support. We've made a change to the hole feature that improves performance, but lacks compatibility with older sheet metal model features. As a result, you'll need to re-stitch all of the references made to the sheet metal feature definition after its updated in order to work with the hole feature. I've created a copy of the Part Studio in a tab called "ONSHAPE SUPPORT" with the updated feature. You'll have to go side by side and update the references. If you have questions or need assistance let me know."
Re: How to remove extrude/shell without overhang
@bladec I didn't realize that "Up to next" would work that way! In fact, I've never found an "up to next" that worked for me, so I always use other workflows.
You really DO learn something new every day.
Re: What does Onshape have against the numbers 0,4,6,8,9 and the letters A,B,D,O,P,Q and sometimes R
A public document - maintained by Onshape - that catalogs the fonts would make a lot of sense. Seems like a good reason to create an Improvement Request.

Re: Does this represent the tap drill size?
This sound like the common theme in all industry…can't find good/competent help. so the trend of placing that responsibility goes up the chain. Lots of 'experience' gone out the door to retirement or similar.
