How to make guides between sketches to be used with Loft command

Hi, i am sure that it is me misunderstanding, but i really struggle to create the socalled guide lines, between sketches when i want to direct the Loft function to create a more customized transistion between es a circle in one sketch and a square in another sketch.
I know there is a onshape video showing, but i can not make it work......am i wrong i thinking that guide lines can be "attached" from one spetch to another.......i think it is my thinking which is wrong...:-)
Is there a very simple example showing the process of creating guidelines between sketches, and then using the loft function?

Maybe this will help:

Notice that I have used "pierce" constraints to attach my guide curves to the loft profiles:
This is more reliable that "use"ing the projection of the profiles, because sometimes that projection has small inaccuracies that will make guides fail.
Thank you very much, i really like that you demosstrate it in a very simple model like this.
I still struggle, i think it is my fundamental understanding of planes that still lacks....but i simply cannot "attach" the guide lines to the circles.......sorry for my unproffesionel langurage....:-)
You may consider going though our free fundamentals courses to get accustomed to our sketching system.

Here is a gif of me starting the sketch and using the "pierce" constraint to attach the arc endpoints to the loft profiles:
Now i see it!......Thank you....i try to move on now...thank you very much for taking your time to help :-)
