How can I reuse a part to make other parts of the same shape but different lengths with redrawing it

For example box tubes of the same size are needed but with different lengths.

The feature you're asking would be configurations, they are not yet implemented.

There are many workarounds, depending on where you wan't to use the results.

You can for example use sketch pattern to copy the shape and then extrude them one by one in different length using 'new' to create separate parts. Or just reuse the same sketch to extrude different length, they will show up in same place but you can use 'hide other' to see just one. These can be used individually in assembly.
Or you can use RMB menu -> copy whole tab and paste into another document. Or just duplicate to use in same document.

    Hope this helps.

May not suit your situation but one way this could be done is with a  transform (copy part) of the original part, then do a move face move.
