Auto 2D dimensions for plywood projects

SchenyScheny Member Posts: 5
Hi,
for a plywood boat project I created, I had to use ordinate dimensioning for every 100mm in order to transfer the drawing to the real board. This is neither efficient, nor easy to read in the printout. Additionally, for it to work, I had to cut the plate into 100mm stripes first and reconnect them together again on the crosspoints. Otherwise the ordinates would not have been in 100mm distances...

For plywood or similar projects, it would be nice to have something like a checkered background where you can set the distance and which creates ordinate dimensions at each point the drawing crosses a background line.

Best regards, Andreas
