Drawing problem with the position of the projected views

when a view is projected, it projects the opposite side of the origin view

Everything is projected with 3rd angle projection.
I cannot find a setting to change it to 1st angle.
If you need to, submit an improvement request.
Otherwise a work around would be to project a side view to the right (for example) then manually move it to the left of the original view.
I believe that is basically the same thing.

ANSI drawing formats are 3rd angle, ISO formats are 1st. Best to create your own.Senior Director, Technical Services, EMEAI6

When you create the drawing, you can use a custom template and choose between 1st and 3rd angle projection
