Improvement not improved - Project Curve to Surface

This improvement request for projecting sketches onto a surface was just closed, but it's not actually resolved. You can now wrap a sketch on cylindrical surfaces, but that's it. You can't project a sketch on any 3D surface as the improvement request specified.

    Ability to imprint sketch curves on faces was added a long time ago - see split Face option 

    It is not the same as your improvement request, but might be a work-around in meantime.
